ASRA To Release Full-Length Debut In July

ASRA the New York city-based band which carries on in the tradition of true pioneers like ASSUCK and BRUTAL TRUTH (acts whose groundbreaking music bridged the gaps between the most extreme forms of metal and punk) will release its debut full-length, "The Way Of All Flesh", on July 8 via Black Box Recordings.

According to a press release, "ASRA pushes this legacy forward, creating a new, unusual sound that connects the dots between the first wave of Earache grindcore, old-school Roadrunner death metal, and the glory days of Slap A Ham power violence."

The CD was recorded/mixed by Chip Karpells (ANODYNE, DEFEATIST) at MetroSonic in Brooklyn, New York and was mastered by Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER, NILE) at Visceral Sound. The cover art was created by Jethaniel Peterka.
